On Wednesday, March 12, former Southern Alamance High School standouts Blake Freeman and Parker Evans’ current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, lost 15-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Lynchburg Hornets.

The game took place at Armstrong-Shelley Field. This was their first matchup against the Hornets this season.

The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 4 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against William Peace Pacers.
