On Friday, Feb. 21, former Western Alamance High School standout Kara Alday’s current college team, the Radford Highlanders, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Saint Joseph’s Hawks.

The game took place at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 6:25 p.m. at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium against Hofstra Pride.
