Kara Alday, former Western Alamance High School standout, played on Saturday, Feb. 15 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Western Alamance High School standout Kara Alday’s current college team, the Radford Highlanders, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UMBC Retrievers.

The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Retrievers this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1:40 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against Boston Terriers.
