On Friday, Feb. 28, former Eastern Alamance High School standout MaKenna Raye Dark’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Eastern Alamance High School standout MaKenna Raye Dark’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 18-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Saint Joseph’s Hawks.

The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Anderson Softball Stadium against Kent State Golden Flashes.
