On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Southern Alamance High School standout Ty Cobb’s current college team, the Lee Flames, won 13-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Alabama Huntsville Chargers.
The game took place at Larry Carpenter Stadium at Olympic Field. This was their third matchup against the Chargers this season.
The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at Ray and Bea Dillard Field against North Greenville Crusaders.
