On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Western Alamance High School standout Taylor Apple’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 10-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Loyola Ramblers.
The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Ramblers this season.
The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 6:30 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against Canisius Golden Griffins.
