On Saturday, March 8, former Eastern Alamance High School standout Kasen McCawley’s current college team, the UNC Pembroke Braves, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Young Harris Mountain Lions.
The game took place at Zell B. Miller Field. This was their third matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.
The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 3 p.m. at Newman Park against Catawba Indians.
