On Wednesday, Feb. 12, former Eastern Alamance High School standout MaKenna Raye Dark’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, former Eastern Alamance High School standout MaKenna Raye Dark’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 16-11 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.

The game took place at St. John Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Chanticleers this season.

The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13 at 3 p.m. at Anderson Softball Stadium against Drexel Dragons.
