On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Western Alamance High School standout Taylor Apple’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Boston Terriers.
The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Terriers this season.
The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against Duke Blue Devils.
