On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Eastern Alamance High School standout MaKenna Raye Dark’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Maryland Terrapins.
The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Terrapins this season.
The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. at Anderson Softball Stadium against Queens Royals.
