On Friday, Feb. 21, former Southern Alamance High School standout Sidney Martin’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgia Bulldogs.
The game took place at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Jack Turner Softball Stadium against Syracuse Orange.
