On Friday, Feb. 28, former Southern Alamance High School standouts Blake Freeman and Parker Evans’ current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, won 7-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Wheaton Lyons.
The game took place at Armstrong-Shelley Field. This was their first matchup against the Lyons this season.
The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Armstrong-Shelley Field against Wheaton Lyons.
