On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Southern Alamance High School standouts Blake Freeman and Parker Evans’ current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Hood Blazers.

The game took place at Armstrong-Shelley Field. This was their third matchup against the Blazers this season.

The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at Armstrong-Shelley Field against Hartford Hawks.
