On Sunday, March 9, former Southern Alamance High School standouts Blake Freeman and Parker Evans’ current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, won 11-10 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Piedmont Lions.

The game took place at Armstrong-Shelley Field. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.

The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 4 p.m. at Armstrong-Shelley Field against Westminster Titans.
