On Sunday, March 2, three former Southern Alamance High School standouts, including Greta Hessenthaler, Isley Duggins and Kayla Wilson’s current college team, the Elon Phoenix, lost 16-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNC Greensboro Spartans.
The game took place at UNCG Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Spartans this season.
The Phoenix’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at Duke Softball Stadium against Duke Blue Devils.
