State Rep. Jon Hardister (R-Guilford) is trying to keep people informed and stay positive in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak.
In his March 19 daily Facebook posts, Guilford asked followers to “Please remain optimistic and stay tuned for updates," and that, "We will get through this together.”
In his Facebook post, Hardister also reminded followers that the state and federal government are working to slow down the spread of the virus.
He also said that hospitals will no longer perform elective procedures so those facilities can dedicate their attention to dealing with COVID-19 and other critical health issues.
Hardister is offering daily COVID-19 updates on his Facebook page.
