Coronavirus update920

Alamance County recently issued the following announcement.

Dear Fellow Rotarians and Prospective Members,

As with every organization, we find ourselves dealing with an unprecedented world health crisis (COVID-19).  Information about the Coronavirus seems to be updated hourly, and the message remains consistent with hand washing and “social distancing” being at the top of the list.

With the latest announcements from President Trump and Governor Cooper and the most recent recommendations from the CDC and the World Health Organization, the Alamance Rotary Club will suspend our weekly meetings until the end of March.

We will re-assess at that time.  This is a fluid and changing world situation in which we all must be mindful of best practices.  Our hope is that by following the recommended guidelines, we can reunite in a few weeks and enjoy each other face to face.

Kind regards,

Mary Thomas Gilbert

President 2019-2020
