Hawfields Presbyterian Church recently issued the following announcement.
Hello Senior Families! After weeks of staying safe at home, and grieving lost milestones, we are still looking forward to celebrating our seniors on May 31st, only it will be virtual rather than in person. Please send me a photo of your child in their cap and gown that we can show in the worship service. We would love to have something of a bio for each senior as well - achievements, scholarships or other awards your child has received; ways your student has served the community during high school; as well as a look at what comes next for them - work, travel, school, area of study, etc. - please include that. If there is something they would like to share with the congregation - this is the time! If they would like to do this part in video form, that is welcome. We need all submissions by Wednesday, May 20th.
