City of Burlington recently issued the following announcement.
Sunset Paddle at Stoney Creek Marina

Enjoy a leisurely, guided paddle on beautiful Stoney Creek Reservoir - a hidden treasure that is normally closed to the public during the week. Your stress will melt away as you paddle under the setting sun. We will be the only ones on the water with hopes of seeing abundant birds and wildlife.
Paddlers will have a guide who provides basic paddling instruction as needed and leads the group on the lake. $20 for rental of solo kayak. $8 to bring your own kayak.
For ages 13 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

ALL PADDLERS AGREE TO WILLING WEAR A PROPERLY FITTED PFD WHILE ON THE WATER.

All paddles are subject to cancellation or postponement due to weather. Please provide a correct email at registration to ensure you receive confirmation and communication regarding your paddle.
Registration cancellations must be received at least 24 hours prior to event for a refund or to be transfer to another paddle. **The online service fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
