County of Guilford issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.
The NC Cooperative Extension will be holding a livestock show, located in their arena, on August 14, 2021.
The show is part of the 4-H Farm Credit Showmanship Circuit, including several counties that host shows where youth can earn points for year end awards. Youth can just participate in the show and not the full circuit if they choose to do so. Youth will be showing beef cattle, goats and sheep where they compete in showmanship and type classes. This year youth that attended their spring series of shows can also show in our summer dairy and livestock shows to get the chance to win the title of Guilford County Ultimate Showman. These shows are open to 4-Hers across the state.
