CITY OF HIGH POINT: HPFD vs. HPPD Charity Softball Game

City of High Point issued the following announcement on Aug. 26. 

High Point Fire Department and High Point Police Department will go head to head in a charity softball game, presented by Ilderton Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, at Truist Point, home of the High Point Rockers, on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at 3:30 p.m.

The friendly event will raise funds for the NC Fallen Firefighters Foundation and Angels in Blue and include jersey auctions and more!

Gates open at 3 p.m, with the first pitch at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $9 at: https://offer.fevo.com/west-virginia-power-89d2mny...

For every ticket purchased through this link, we will donate $4 to be split between the respective departments' charities.

Be sure to stick around after the game for the Home Run Derby at 5 p.m., where members of the police & fire departments will be paired up with Rockers players to raise even more money.

Tickets to the softball game and Home Run Derby also include admission to that evening’s High Point Rockers “First Responders Appreciation Night” when they take on the West Virginia Power at 7:05 p.m.

This event will follow all state, local and CDC recommended guidelines for mass gatherings.
