City of Burlington issued the following announcement on Sep 24.
Join us at Dark at the BallPark with Burlington Recreation on Friday October 29th from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Burlington Athletic Stadium (Home of the Burlington Sock Puppets) for a night of fun & fireworks! This event will feature live dance and Aerial Silks performances, trick-or-treating from local organizations, Halloween crafts and concessions($). This event is sure to be “Sockingly Different”, as the Burlington Sock Puppets staff are planning a Haunted Stadium experience ($15) to take place throughout the event and following weekend! Be sure to look toward the sky at 8:00pm as we shoot off our annual Halloween Fireworks show.
