Congratulations to Deena Hayes, Board Chair of the Guilford County Board of Education, for being named a 2021 finalist for the Green-Garner Award!
The Green-Garner Award recognized outstanding contributions to urban education. School board members who have been nominated have helped spearhead the comeback and progress of the nation's urban schools. These remarkable individuals have worked tirelessly on behalf of our children.
The winner will be announced at the Council of the Great City Schools' Virtual 65th Annual Fall Conference.
