Alamance County Sheriff’s Office issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.
On Saturday, October 2, 2021, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Alamance County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on S. NC 87 Highway towards Graham, NC. Once the driver pulled over, the deputy noticed a faint odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After utilizing a K-9 for an exterior sniff, the K-9 indicated a positive alert for the presence of narcotics hidden in the car. Two passengers also possessed narcotics, and one was charged with a felony.
