Alamance Parks issued the following announcement on Dec. 4. 

Trout will arrive at Cedarock Park this week. The opening schedule is as follows:

• Thursday-Sunday, December 9-12: Fishing will be open to youth ages 15 and under
• Monday, December 13: Season opens for all ages

A pass will be required for all persons fishing. Passes can be purchased at the park office for $5 for a daily pass or $35 for an annual pass. More information about fishing at Cedarock Park is located on the Fishing Page.
