City of High Point issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
There will be no changes in garbage, recycling or bulk pickup throughout the holidays.
- Yard waste will not be collected the week of Dec. 27 so that crews are able to focus on excess holiday waste.
- Please remember that carts will need to be at the curb by 6 a.m. starting on Jan. 3
- When yard waste collection resumes on the week of Jan. 3, natural decorations such as trees, wreaths, flowers and pine boughs are acceptable in curbside yard waste collection as long as all decorations, pots, wires and plastic are removed.
- Lastly, the Kersey Valley Landfill will be closed 12/24,12/27 and 12/31. Ingleside Compost Facility will be closed 12/24-12/27,12/31 and 1/1
