City of High Point issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
Yesterday, we celebrated the $19.8 million RAISE Grant awarded to the City by the U.S. Department of Transportation at the High Point Public Library's Arts& Education Pavilion. We would like to thank Kathy Manning and the representatives of Senator Richard Burr, Senator Thom Tillis and the North Carolina Department of Transportation for attending and for their support of this grant. A huge thank you to the City staff responsible for the grant application and its success!
