City of Burlington issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.
Curbside Loose Leaf Collection is extended due to recent winter weather. Our vacuum trucks were scheduled to complete regularly scheduled pick-up routes this week, but snow-covered leaves have slowed them down. Crews are working in Zone 2 this week and will return to Zones 3 and 4 after that. Once regularly scheduled pickup has ended for the year, you can still call and schedule curbside pickup at 336-222-5005 through the end of February.
