Town of Pleasant Garden issued the following announcement on Jan. 28.
Youth Baseball/Softball
Our program range is designed for skill development at multiple age levels; T-Ball Coed (age 4-6), Coach Pitch Baseball Coed (age 7-8), and Pitch Baseball/Softball (Ages 10 and up). Qualifying age cutoff is May 1st for baseball, and January 1st for softball. Depending on availability, Pleasant Garden All-Star team(s) made up of selected 2022 Spring PG Players will compete in at least two summer tournaments.
2022 SPRING SEASON
Player Registration starts January 3rd-February 12th
Coach and Sponsor Registration open now - February 12th.
Assessment/ Draft Day February 12th (rain date February 13th) for 8U and up
Practices will start week of February 28th
Games start is TBD, but will end by May 21st.
Youth Soccer
Youth soccer is offered for boys and girls ages 3-18, and all age groups are coed, unless numbers allow for split. August 1st is the age cutoff for age groups; player must turn 3 before August 1st, and 18 year old's must be in High School. Practices are during the week in the evenings, and games are on Saturdays. Depending on availability, Pleasant Garden participates in the SWAC All-Star Fall Tournament.
