High Point Police Department issued the following announcement on Mar. 8.
While an arrest has been made the investigation continues in this case to determine motive and circumstance. Mr. Bethea is currently being held in the High Point Jail under one million dollar bond for the homicide charge, no bond for a probation violation, and an additional one hundred dollar bond for injury to property.
