CITY OF GRAHAM: Advertisement for Bids

City of Graham issued the following announcement on Apr. 19.

The City of Graham is soliciting bids for the expansion of the City of Graham Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work is located at 1204 E Gilbreath Street, Graham NC 27253. On Wednesday April 20, 2022, sealed bids were received for this project by the City of Graham Publics Utilities Department. Less than three bids were received, so per NC General Statutes, sealed bids were returned, and the project will be re-bid. For the re-bid, sealed Bids will be received by the City of Graham on Wednesday May 04, 2022, at the Graham City Hall, 201 S. Main Street, Graham, NC 27253. Bids must be received by 2:00 p.m. Bids received will be publicly opened and read at that time and location. All Bids submitted shall include all required documents as listed in Section 00 20 00 Instructions to Bidders. Bids must be submitted on the printed form, or exact copies thereof, contained in the Contract Documents. Contract Documents in electronic format may be obtained at no charge from the Engineer by emailing GRAHAMWWTP@hazenandsawyer.com. Contract Documents may also be examined online at the following locations: McGraw Hill Construction / Dodge (dodge.construction.com), ConstructConnectTM Company, Construction Journal. The Work will be financed by the State Revolving Fund loan under the Federal Clean Water Revolving Loan and Grant Act of 1987 (CS370563-04). Bidder shall make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned businesses and comply with NC Division of Water Infrastructure MBE/WBE requirements and GS 143-128. The contracted bidder shall comply with federal AIS and Davis Bacon requirements throughout the project.
