High Point Public Library issued the following announcement on June 15.
The Sensory Garden at the High Point Public Library will be a 7,000 sq.ft. self-contained garden area that allows visitors to enjoy a wide range of sensory experiences. It will offer a plethora of educational and recreational applications for those with autism, dementia, Alzheimer’s, physical or mental disabilities, as well as a positive outdoor experience for all populations.
We would love to have community input for the Sensory Garden. If you are interested in learning more about the Sensory Garden, or would like to share your thoughts on the Sensory Garden please join us on Friday June 17th from 4-6pm in the story room at the High Point Public Library.
