Guilford County Schools issued the following announcement on July 6.
Congratulations to Leigh Jones who was named the new GCS athletic director! Jones will replace Leigh Hebbard, who is retiring.
Jones is a seasoned athlete and educator. She has served as an assistant women’s basketball coach at her alma mater, Appalachian State University, and has been an award-winning principal at schools across the Piedmont-Triad.
