City of High Point Parks & Recreation issued the following announcement on June 30.
High Point Parks & Recreation’s administrative office, all recreation centers and the Roy B. Culler, Jr. Senior Center will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of the July 4 holiday. Normal operations resume on Tuesday, July 5.
Piedmont Environmental Center is closed on July 4, but the restrooms and trails will be open.
The Washington Terrace Pool will be open regular hours from noon – 6 p.m. on Monday, July 4. The Southside Splash Pad is open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Washington Terrace Community Center will be closed on Monday, July 4.
Oak Hollow Tennis Center will be open from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Monday, July 4.
All our other facilities will operate on a normal schedule. Please call ahead if you have questions or concerns. Wishing you a safe and happy Fourth!
