CITY OF BURLINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT: Alamance Narcotics Enforcement Team (ANET) Shared The Following Information Today

City of Burlington Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.

As the opioid overdoses has risen throughout Alamance County, the Alamance Narcotics Enforcement Team (ANET) has been investigating non-fatal and fatal overdoses. During ANET’s investigations, they have determined and found probable cause to believe that multiple individuals are involved in the sale and delivery of Scheduled I and II controlled substances, specifically fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine that has led to multiple fatal deaths. 

Since March 2022, ANET has investigated approximately six (6) FATAL overdoses where they have made multiple arrests related to these deaths. The following are the individuals who have been arrested related to these FATAL overdose cases:

Brandon Jiavoani Daye – charged and arrested with one count of trafficking cocaine and one count of trafficking scheduled II controlled substance (fentanyl). 

William Foster –  charged with one count of sell/deliver scheduled II controlled substance (fentanyl). 

Brian Riley – charged with one count of sell/delivery scheduled II controlled substance (fentanyl). 

Jeremy Lee Crisp – charged with one count of sell/delivery scheduled II controlled substance (fentanyl). 

Omar King – charged with one count of delivery scheduled II controlled substance (fentanyl), and one count of felony possession of methamphetamine. 

Additionally, more charges may come regarding these investigations pending toxicology reports. Attached to this media release are photographs of the individuals that have been charged and arrested.
