City of High Point Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.
HPPD Community Day is a free and fun event for the entire family!
There will be bounce houses, outdoor games, kickball competitions and food.
You can also watch demonstrations from the HPPD's K-9 and Tact Team and see a NC Highway Patrol helicopter.
Free health screenings and flu shots will also be available.
