Let's talk about our Field Training Officers (FTO)! | CITY OF BURLINGTON: (burlingtonnc.gov/2209/Police-Department)
City of Burlington Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.
Their professionalism and experience are vital to the continued training of our newest officers.
Each new officer must complete 70 working days of field training, in a rotation of day and night shifts, under the supervision and guidance of their assigned FTO.
It's an incredibly rewarding way to give back to the agency and build upon our future.
The active leadership of all of our FTOs is a critical component of our department!
