Free E-waste Drop-off Event | CITY OF BURLINGTON: (BurlingtonNC.gov)

City of Burlington issued the following announcement on Feb. 5.

Dispose of E-Waste responsibly! 

Bring them to the free e-waste drop-off event at our Public Works parking lot (234 East Summit Ave) tomorrow (2/4) from 9am - 2pm.

On July 1, 2011 The Discarded Computer Equipment and Television Management Law, otherwise known as the E-Waste Ban

 went into effect. This ban regulates the disposal of electronic equipment. These items can no longer be placed in your regular trash and must be taken to a proper electronic recycling site.
