City of Burlington issued the following announcement on March 17.
Operation Medicine Drop, this Friday!
Friday, March 24, 20239 a.m. – Noon
Trinity Worship Service 3157 S. Church Street, Burlington, NC 27215
Drop off any medications, prescriptions, samples and even pet meds with no questions asked.
Law enforcement will help dispose of them in a secure and environmentally safe way.
Medications should not be flushed, thrown away or buried.
Help keep our environment safe from toxins and our kids safe from accidental poisoning.
