Ed Priola for North Carolina spent the most out of political committees within cities associated with Alamance County during February.

It spent $338 on two vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was for Technology & Office Expenses to Automattic, Inc., which is based in San Francisco.

The second largest political spend from a political committee operating in a city associated with Alamance County during February came from Sean Ewing for North Carolina. It spent $216 during the time period on two different vendors.

What’s known as “dark money”, which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.
