On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Eastern Alamance High School standout MaKenna Raye Dark’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, lost 11-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Auburn Tigers.
The game took place at Jane B. Moore Field. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. at St. John Stadium against Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
