On Friday, Feb. 14, former Western Alamance High School standout Taylor Apple’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Radford Highlanders.

The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Highlanders this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against Boston Terriers.
