On Monday, Feb. 24, former The Burlington School standout Wagner Morrissette’s current college team, the Lamar Cardinals, won 15-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies.
The game took place at Vincent-Beck Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Grizzlies this season.
The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park against Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
