On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former The Burlington School standout Wagner Morrissette’s current college team, the Lamar Cardinals, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
The game took place at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium against UTRGV Vaqueros.
