Ty Cobb, former Southern Alamance High School standout, played on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in NCAA Division II baseball game

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Southern Alamance High School standout Ty Cobb’s current college team, the Lee Flames, won 10-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Carson-Newman Eagles.

The game took place at Larry Carpenter Stadium at Olympic Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Larry Carpenter Stadium at Olympic Field against Alabama Huntsville Chargers.
