On Sunday, Feb. 16, former The Burlington School standout Wagner Morrissette’s current college team, the Lamar Cardinals, won 13-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners.
The game took place at Hardt Field. This was their third matchup against the Roadrunners this season.
The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. at Vincent-Beck Stadium against North Dakota State Bison.
