On Friday, Feb. 14, former Western Alamance High School standout Kara Alday’s current college team, the Radford Highlanders, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UMBC Retrievers.

The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Retrievers this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 3:25 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
