On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Western Alamance High School standout Taylor Apple’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks.
The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Seahawks this season.
The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against North Carolina Central Eagles.
